The Essence of Hair Styling

Jenn owns her own salon business, Essence Studio and Day Spa (map). She has been doing hair for 20+ years and still loves doing it. She has cut and colored both my and my wife's hair. Yes, I dyed my hair too. She always takes the time to listen to what we like as well as give us a style that fits our needs and personalities.

What makes this place great is her attitude towards people and other businesses. She has offered to post some business cards of mine in her store as well as try to work out a beneficial work relationship, all because I'm getting started in photography. She loves small businesses and thinks we can all help each other.

If you can't get an appointment with Jenn, don't worry!  She has each of her stylists audition to be hired at her salon and only brings on the best.  They all get along great with her and with everyone else in the salon. Whenever we go in it's like being accepted into the family.  My wife looks forward to her appointments - it's like a day out with the girls!

They do hair for weddings, prom, and can fix split-ends. In fact, while we were there just yesterday two women came in to have their hair fixed after "cheating" on Essence Studio with other stylists. ;-) My wife has even gotten a non-ticklish pedicure and the massage therapists may have an appointment with me soon.
